The Western Design Conference Exhibit + Sale kicked off on Thursday evening with a bang. In addition to showcasing a diversity of over 100 artisans’ work — from bespoke clothing and jewelry to art and handcrafted furniture — the evening featured a live fashion show presenting the creations of designers from across the West. Hundreds of guests gathered to peruse the stunning creations on display and meet the talented individuals behind the work.
Barbara Grimes, designer behind Gossamer Wings Santa Fe, showcased beautifully-inspired Western wear in the fashion show. Fashion show started by featuring work from the late Sonny Tuttle, an indigenous designer from Lander, WY. Artists from Foxtrot Fine Art Gallery in Driggs, Idaho shared a variety of locally-crafted paintings. Scott Wayne, designer of award-winning custom cowboy boots, showcased a wild lineup of his handcrafted creations with Tres Outlaws Boot Co. In addition to clothing, designers showcased impeccably-designed furniture and other pieces, like these vintage-inspired pieces by Stephen Rosini from Salt Lake City. Handcrafted wood and leather, stained glass — artisans featured a diverse array of materials and inspirations for pieces of all kinds — Gallenberg Studio.
